Job description

Our state government client is seeking experienced document controllers for multiple Project Support roles in Perth, WA.

These roles strongly focus on document control, information management and records practices. If you have this type of experience and are looking to get into projects and/or government, this is the perfect role for you!

Rate: $45 per hour plus Super
Location: Perth CBD
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in rate)

The role: Project Support
Providing document control support to project teams tasked with delivering road infrastructure projects. This includes supporting the team through the various stages of a project such as project development, award delivery contract, project construction and project completion.

Duties include (but not limited to):
● Maintain critical project records
● Assume the role of document controller
● Manage multiple contract inboxes
● Assist with coordinating project reports
● Coordinate project meetings and Steering Committee including meeting invites, agenda preparation, meeting paper distribution and minute taking.
● Maintain site office and supplies
● Provide business support to the project team
● Booking flights and accommodation for regional travel

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, OR EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL:
· Records Managements practices and use of computerised records management system
· Written communication, including preparation of reports and various forms of correspondence
· Project Administration support in a variety of contexts

DESIRABLE:
· TRIM, SharePoint and Microsoft teams experience

Other requirements
Must have full working rights within Australia
Must have current driver’s licence
Must be able to obtain clean National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months)
