Job description

Job Title: Records System Administrator
Employer: DFP Recruitment client
Position Type: 3 month Casual Temporary Contract with extension
Pay Rate: $38-$42 per hour
Location: Osbourne Park, WA 6017
Role Overview: The Records System Administrator oversees the functionality and maintenance of the document/records management system, including configuration, troubleshooting, and user support. Responsibilities include detecting and resolving system issues, assisting with upgrades, and collaborating on disaster recovery plans. Strong experience in Records Management Systems, particularly Open Text Enterprise Content Manager, along with excellent communication skills and a solid business acumen, are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain the document/records management system functional configuration, including drop down menus, templates, and security groups.
  • Detect, analyse, and address problems encountered in the document/records management system.
  • Assist with upgrades and enhancements of the document/records management applications.
  • Assist with the development/review of the Disaster Recovery Plan and the Retention and disposal Schedule.
  • Perform regular audits of the systems, including users and validation tables.
  • Provide guidance and support (helpdesk) to users of the document/records management system.
  • Prepare manuals and other documentation to support the document/records management system.
  • Liaises with external consultants, as appropriate.
  • Liaise with staff with regards to improving work processes or finding solutions to work practices by using the document management systems.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
 
Essential to be successful in this role;
  • Strong experience in Records Management System especially Open Test Enterprise Content Manager
  • Good listening and communications skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
