Job description

Our valued government partner is seeking an AO3 Procurement Support Officer to join their team.

As the Procurement Support Officer, your duties will include but will not be limited to:
  • Undertaking a range of procurement-related projects, including researching and assessing alternative strategies, processes, and procedures
  • Ordering materials and processing purchase orders, work orders, field release orders, and similar for goods and services required for regional delivery
  • Producing reports to support procurement activities and projects
  • Providing support in the development and delivery of procurement training and induction programs
  • Assisting with ongoing skills frameworks and the development and production of procurement training materials
  • Coordinating contractor meetings, including scheduling, minute taking, and presentation support
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislative and departmental procurement requirements and promoting procurement as a key business function
  • Demonstrating professionalism and contributing positively to team culture
