Job description

Our valued State Government client is seeking a motivated AO3 Business Support Officer to join their high-performing team based in Mount Isa. This is a fast-paced role where you will play a key part in supporting essential departmental services and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high standard of customer service in a KPI-driven environment.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with local suppliers, industry contacts, and other stakeholders.
  • Support timely and efficient service delivery across departmental functions.
  • Ensure accuracy in data management and record-keeping.
  • Actively contribute to internal process improvements and innovation initiatives.

About You:
  • Proven experience in a call centre or customer service environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet performance targets.
  • Professional, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
