About the Role:
As a Senior Management Accountant, you will:
- Lead and coordinate financial planning, budget cycles, and forecasting.
- Provide expert financial advice and analysis to senior stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement strategies to enhance cost recovery and revenue generation.
- Mentor and uplift financial literacy across the branch.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, government policies, and WH&S legislation.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial services and reports.
- Develop and implement financial frameworks and monitoring processes.
- Conduct high-level research and analysis on complex financial issues.
- Support business case development and strategic planning.
- Partner with managers to improve financial decision-making.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
- Proven experience in financial management within a complex organisation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and financial systems (e.g., SAMIS, Basware, Oracle).
