Job description

On behalf of a Federal Government Agency, we are looking for several APS3 Access Officers to join the Access and Reassessment team based in Geelong. The assignments will be 6-12 months, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. 

The team are responsible for working in a service delivery environment, working directly with participants to manage and resolve eligibility assessments and resolution. 

Responsibilities will include; 
  • Reviewing, processing and assessing documentation in accordance with policy and legislation 
  • Making appropriate assessment decisions
  • Responding to phone and email enquiries and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Maintaining records and undertaking data entry, scanning and filing documents according to standards

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate; 
  • Previous administrative experience or experience working in a service delivery environment 
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to follow process and instructions 
  • Customer service skills 

As this role is with a Federal Government Agency, applicants are required to hold Australian Citizenship.
