  • APS6 Project Officer – $60.26/hr + Super (3 positions)
  • APS5 Project Officer – $55.24/day + Super (2 positions)
  • Contract till 31 Dec 2026 with possible extension
  • Hybrid work arrangements
  • Australian Citizenship required
About the Team:
Join a collaborative project team delivering complex initiatives within a government environment. APS6 Project Officers lead complex project activities and provide technical and strategic support, while APS5 Project Officers support delivery through coordination, research, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
 
Key Responsibilities – APS6 Project Officer:
  • Lead and manage complex project activities and schedules
  • Provide specialist advice and technical expertise
  • Undertake research, analysis, and prepare reports and briefs
  • Coordinate project reporting and manage risks and issues
  • Support budgets, procurement, and quality management
Key Responsibilities – APS5 Project Officer:
  • Support project coordination and delivery activities
  • Assist with project planning, reporting, and documentation
  • Conduct research and draft briefs and reports
  • Support budget monitoring, procurement, and risk management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams
Essential Criteria – APS6:
  • Experience delivering complex project work in fast-paced environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven critical thinking and decision-making ability
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Essential Criteria – APS5:
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to analyse problems and support practical solutions
  • Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Sound judgement within policy and procedural frameworks
Desirable Criteria (Both roles):
  • Experience in government or large, regulated organisations
