Job description

We are seeking experienced Quality Officers to join the Case Management team within the Administrative Appeals Branch of this Federal Government Agency based in Richmond. These opportunities are available at the APS5 equivalent, paying $53.63 per hour plus super.

The Role

Joining the Case Management team who are responsible for reviewing consistency and quality of operational activities against standards, procedures and practices associated with resolving matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT).
 
The team focuses on identifying key trends, sharing these with the case management leadership to drive improvements in performance and quality.
 
Responsibilities
 
The APS5 Case Management Quality position will be responsible for a range of activities, including:
  • Managing a range of quality reviews
  • Providing professional and technical commentary to review findings to improve decision making, resolution practice and performance
  • Conducting quality assurance and quality control activities in relation to case management processes
  • Providing support and guidance to team members to enhance quality and correctness of technical skills and knowledge
  • Assisting the develop and implementation of improvement strategies
  • Managing complaints and feedback from the AAT and respond to FOI requests
 
The APS5 Case Quality Management position will also provide support to the management of the team, provide strategic direction, delivering on the operational requirements to team members.

About You

  • Experience in a statutory environment, dispute resolution, and Operational Quality.
  • Desirable candidates have experience with the AAT within a Federal Government environment
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Present excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Possess strong planning and organisation skills and strong time management
  • Experience in data collection, data management and analysis, problem analysis
  • Focus on continuous improvement with a coaching outlook
