This role is ideal for someone with lived experience and a passion for mental health recovery, peer support, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised peer support under a recovery-oriented model of care
- Collaboratively develop action plans with clients to support their wellbeing and personal goals
- Apply lived experience to build rapport and foster trust with clients
- Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and co-facilitate group programs
- Promote mental health recovery principles and represent the department in community networks
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality and reporting requirements
- Engage in ongoing professional development and peer supervision
About You:
- Lived experience, including personal lived experience of military service or military family life, and a personal mental health journey
- Skills and knowledge to utilise Lived Experience to respectfully support and educate clients
- Experience in peer support, mentoring, coaching, or mental health services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High emotional intelligence and integrity
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work (or willingness to obtain)
