About the role
As an APS5 - EL1 Behavioural Compliance Officer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Researching, designing and implementing activities, processes and systems supporting good compliance, using contemporary behavioural insights and human-centred design approaches.
  • Providing advice to the Compliance Program Branch on applying behavioural insights to the design and implementation of compliance activities.
  • Undertaking evaluation of behaviourally informed interventions using a range of statistical techniques.
  • Preparing written communication including proposals, evaluation reports, Executive and Ministerial Briefings, correspondence with key stakeholders and members of the public.
  • Maintaining records, providing advice and reporting on compliant and non-compliant matters.
  • Assisting in developing and constructing and conducting branch workshops.
  • Obtaining data from structured interactions and engagements and providing recommendations to improve compliance.
  • Representing the branch in Commonwealth and Industry Communities of Practice
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in a similar position is desirable
  • Knowledge of applying behavioural insights principles to facilitate an improved experience for staff and customers.
  • Academic qualifications and recent experience in applying psychology, behavioural economics, econometrics, social anthropology, applied statistics or a related discipline.
