Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Recruitment Support Officer for an initial 3 month contract to join a busy State Government HR team.

This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, high attention to detail, and experience working with recruitment or HR systems in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate recruitment activities using an eRecruitment system
  • Manage candidate communications, scheduling, and correspondence
  • Process and publish job advertisements in line with government requirements
  • Provide administrative support across end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Liaise with hiring managers and respond to recruitment enquiries
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports
  • Support pre-employment checks and onboarding activities
Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in HR administration or recruitment support
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of work
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience using HR systems or databases
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a structured environment
