Job description
We’re seeking experienced APS5 Test Analysts to join a collaborative team in a large Federal Government Agency. In this role, you will independently manage your workload, provide policy-based advice, and contribute to the development and delivery of quality testing outcomes. This is a 12 month assignment and can be based in Richmond or Geelong.

Responsibilities include;
- Create and review UAT artefacts, test cases, and coverage matrices
- Execute manual testing, escalate defects, and track resolution
- Estimate and manage testing resources and timelines
- Support agile methodologies across testing phases
- Engage with stakeholders to resolve moderately complex issues
- Proficiency with test case design, execution, and defect tracking
- Strong communication and analytical thinking
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Time management and task prioritisation
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Playwright), BDD, and Gherkin syntax
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and GitLab
- Ability to build and maintain automated testing frameworks
