Job description

On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are seeking experienced Case Managers to undertake end to end case management activities involving risk and vulnerable participants.
 
The Role 
The APS6 Case Manager is accountable for complex work guided by legislation, policies, and standards. The position is required to provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex case management.

Location (Working on site, hybrid work is only available at one day a week after training. You cannot work remotely for another state, must be located in that state)

Responsibilities 
The APS6 Case Management position will be responsible for a range of activities, including: 
  • Undertaking case management of complex AAT matters, undertaking analysis, and developing options for early resolution.
  • Attending Case Conferences, Conciliations and Hearings conducted by the AAT.
  • Preparing documents detailing resolution options and outcomes at Case Management meetings.
  • Assessing and responding to priority and risk matters.
  • Resolving matters through case management of AAT applications. 
  • Preparing and maintaining electronic record keeping, including evidence supporting decision making processes and justifying conclusions reached during the case management process.
About You 
The successful candidate will have demonstrated case management experience, sound decision making skills and the ability to justify decisions based on evidence. 

In addition:
  • Experience interpretating information and legislation.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • The ability to monitor related emerging issues, identify impacts and conduct risk management activities.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of the NDIS and supports for people with disability.
  • The ability to engage easily with a diverse range of people.
  • Ability to achieve individual and team goals and targets.
