About the Organisation
Our client is a Federal Government Department looking for an experienced Secretariat Services Officer to provide secretariat services to one of its Branches by; including coordinating appointments, scheduling meetings, coordinating, collating and distributing meeting papers, and drafting agenda papers and minutes.

About the Role
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver Review Committee Secretariat services
  • Coordination and management of document management systems (HPE Content, Microsoft Teams)
  • Scheduling committee meetings, coordinating attendance, collating and distributing meeting papers, and drafting agenda papers and minutes.
The ideal applicants would have the following skills and experience:
  • Strong analytical skills (and experience with detailed assessment of reports or documentation) and high-level judgement and decision-making skills
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Editorial skills and experience, ensuring documents are formatted in accordance with the department’s writing guide, are well constructed, easy to read and accessible
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, an ability to manage competing priorities, and a high degree of flexibility, multitask and to provide a high level of support to team members, assessors, and senior management.
  • Adaptability and resilience in the face of high-pressure workloads, with a proven ability to coordinate complex tasks and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Demonstrated Discretion and appreciation of stakeholder activities
