Role responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and reliable AWS infrastructure solutions to support enterprise-grade applications and services.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline and automate deployment processes, ensuring consistent and efficient delivery across environments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure to maintain high availability, optimal performance, and rapid issue resolution.
- Manage and mentor a team of AWS Platform Engineers, with a focus on task delegation, identifying skill development opportunities, and providing guidance to junior team members.
- Design and implement cloud security controls aligned with frameworks such as the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), ASD Cloud Security Blueprints, and the Information Security Manual (ISM) to safeguard cloud environments and sensitive data.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, with version control managed via Git.
- Experience in implementing AWS solutions
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams or fulfilling technical lead roles
- Experience in implementing Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using IBM Terraform, IBM Vault (formerly Hashicorp) and using Git repositories (GitLab, GitHub).
- Experience in implementing Azure solutions
