Our client has been around for more than 125 years, helping small businesses compete and win.  They provide the technology, software and local business automations tools to assist small businesses be more successful.
They are going through an exciting phase of growth as they progress towards their goal of becoming a leading SaaS and platforms business.
You will be a self-starter, excellent communicator and passionate about selling.  You will be working with a broad range of clients locally within your sales region and be responsible for maintaining your customers spend and sell new products as the company moves into the future. 
The Role
Reporting to the Account Director, you will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities, introducing and selling new SaaS software to prospect clients.  Specific responsibilities include:
  • Partnering with local businesses and building relationships through client-facing meetings
  • Contacting and investigating business opportunities
  • Understand client needs and offer tailored SaaS solutions
  • Responsible for your own operations to meet sales and KPI’s
About you
Coming from proven sales background, ideally within IT or Tech/Software environment, you will be a confident and natural networker, who is self-motivated.  Additionally you will:
  • Experience working in an autonomous B2B sales client-facing role without supervision
  • Ability to get in front of decision makers and close deals
  • Entrepreneurial sales mentality – taking a new product from 0 to 1 in a new market
  • Ability to work effectively in an unstructured environment
  • You will be a self-started hunter with the ability to develop your own pipeline of prospect clients
  • Drive and motivation to meet sales KPI's
  • Hunger for continuous training and development
  • Sell tailored SaaS solutions
  • Knowledge in SaaS or CRM highly beneficial
  • Good understanding of ICPs
  • Have excellent presentation skills with the ability to adapt to your audience (small to medium businesses)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to identify needs and create solutions/opportunities
  • Hunger and drive to succeed in a sales capacity
