About the Organisation
Our Federal Government client is looking to engage a Business Analysts for a 12-month contract. 
 
About the role
Business Analyst’s will be a part of the agile delivery team to produce a SAS/PAS first Azure application. Business Analyst’s will focus on user stories, user experience, requirements deliverable and also assist with uplifting, maturing the processes and procedures in the agile space.Business Anlaysts shall transfer knowledge and mentoring the existing staff.
 
The duties and responsibilities for this role include:
  • Demonstrated an ability to document business requirements for data driven projects and provide advice on downstream impacts of the change.
  • Identify key interaction between systems, policies, business outcomes and assist in developing, documenting high level and detailed requirements.
  • Liaison with Business teams to establish requirements. Cooperating with other team members to turn requirements into Features.
  • Work with Project Manager or Delivery Manager to schedule work for each Sprint.
  • Coordinate the requirements workshops with both Business and technical staff by updating user stories and features in conjunction with technical staff.
  • Investigation of bugs raised during testing and coordinating Sprint activities with other team members.
Skills and Experience
Applicants must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position. Having Security clearance will be a value add.
  • Has excellent communication, interpersonal skills and has an aptitude for collaboration and negotiation with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Facilitating change readiness, has a high attention to detail and a focus on delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • End to end business analysis skills: process mapping, process re-engineering, user stories, workshop facilitation and improvement techniques.
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment and experience using Agile development tool set
