DFP Recruitment is seeking a Business Analyst (SME/Testing) for our state government client.
Responsibilities
- Manage dissemination of complex technical interface information and business rules across teams to support informed decision-making and service improvement.
- Assist in identifying, scoping, and drafting key deliverables for new project initiatives.
- Embed agile methodologies to ensure requirements are value-driven and customer-centric.
- Build strategic relationships with stakeholders to define business needs and user stories that maximise customer benefit.
- Identify and document business processes, technical and functional requirements, aligning with user stories and delivery goals.
- Lead and manage system testing, including test plan development, tester coordination, and quality assurance.
- Produce comprehensive documentation, including interface designs, requirements, business process models, user stories, and use cases.
- Travel Bookings: Coordinate and manage travel arrangements through the approved travel provider including oversight of request and approval workflows.
- Travel Allowances: Apply in-depth knowledge of Government travel policies, ensuring correct interpretation and application across various departments, agencies, and industrial awards.
- Purchasing Cards (PCard): Administer and support the use of Purchasing Cards, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Virtual Cards (VCard): Manage Virtual Card transactions for both travel and non-travel purposes, maintaining proper controls and usage compliance.
- Out-of-Pocket Expense Claims: Process employee reimbursement claims, ensuring alignment with policy requirements and efficient handling.
- Travel and Expense Management Systems: Administer and configure systems used for managing travel and expenses, providing ongoing user support and training.
- SAP Integration: Understand and support the interface between travel and expense management systems and SAP, particularly for payroll and financial processes.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst/SME in system implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of travel and expense processes and systems.
- Experience in system testing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with SAP integration and financial workflows
- It is deemed desirable to have had prior involvement in implementing a Travel and Expense Management System.
