Job description

  • Up to 150K per annum + Super + Commission
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be focused on identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets. The objective is to expand customer base, increase market share, and drive revenue growth through the sale of our client’s managed services offerings.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities for managed services, targeting key industries and market segments.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Build a robust sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales, delivery, and marketing, to develop compelling proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both parties.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing client concerns and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market share to develop competitive sales approaches.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
About You
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the managed services industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of managed services, including IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, security, and support services.
  • Strong networking skills to expand professional connections and leverage referrals.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
