DFP are looking for an experienced Business Support to join one of our government clients on 6-month full-time assignment located in Redcliffe.
About the role
Your role as a Business Support involves providing executive and business management support to senior leadership. Key responsibilities include:
• Manage the department's mailbox, ensuring all items are catalogued, addressed, and documented.
• Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders seeking information and arranging meetings.
• Assist with the coordination and hosting of meetings involving senior managers and external parties.
• Support management in organising and tracking staff training and development activities.
• Organise and coordinate monthly staff meetings, including preparing presentations for delivery.
• Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items as needed.
• Coordinate the quarterly recognition programs and related presentations.
• Manage the creation and distribution of the monthly newsletter.
• Handle business services, including reconciling corporate credit cards and related tasks.
• Follow up on outstanding actions until completion.
• Update and maintain the monthly reporting dashboard.
• Manage and update content on the intranet and external website.
• Arrange travel plans for senior managers, including itineraries, booking travel, and accommodations, and ensure all necessary approvals and records are in place.
About you
• Strong research, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written communication, including preparation of reports and various forms of correspondence.
• Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to meet work schedules and deadlines.
• Current Drivers Licence
• National Police Clearance
