Job description

  • Federal Government opportunity in Parramatta
  • 3-month contract with the possibility of extension
  • $35.00 per hour + super
Our State Government Client is currently seeking a Client Service Officer to join their Parramatta team with delivering high quality, consistent and timely administration of Estates.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Interpretation of Wills and other legal documents.
  • Collating and submitting applications to the courts.
  • Writing to banks, insurance agencies, financial institutions, and other government agencies.
  • Paying claims and preparing distributions of estate assets to beneficiaries.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with beneficiaries through regular communication and updates.
  • Working closely with taxation, legal and professional services, property teams and subject matter experts to achieve quality outcomes focused on customer needs.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Experience interpreting legal documents is highly regarded
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Inititaive and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Have excellent interpersonal, customer servie and communication skills
