Job description

Our state government client is seeking a Level 3 Compliance Officer for an initial 3-month position in their Bunbury or Manjimup office. 

Rate: $40-50 per hour plus Super 
Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week 
Duration: Initial 3-month contract  
Location: Bunbury or Manjimup office 

Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in hourly rate) 

This position supports the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OSHE) Branch with compliance activities.  

The role is responsible for:  
Branch administration – raising purchase orders, booking accommodation, invoicing, updating controlled documents. 
Registering Hazards, Incidents and Emergency Response drills. 
Saving documents to electronic record keeping system. 
Creating actions in Governance Management System. 
Administration of Workers Compensation. 
Collection, registering and follow up of Contractor Safety Data. 
Administration of staff eLearning training including updating all eLearning modules as required. 
Creation and updating of pivot tables for the OSHE Branch Manager. 
 
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, OR EXPERIENCE  
Experience in a compliance support role in the areas of safety, environment and corporate governance. 
Experience providing support in the administration and implementation of governance compliance or quality assurance systems or similar. 
Sound oral and written communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels.  
Organisational skills, with the ability to proactively plan and prioritise workloads with minimal supervision.  
Knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software.  

OTHER REQUIREMENTS 
Full working rights within Australia 
Able to obtain a clean National Police Clearance
