Job description

Our NSW State Government client is currently seeking multiple Call Centre Operators for initial 6 month contracts with the possibility of extension in Gosford. This role will commence on Friday the 8th of August 2025 and you will be working a rotating roster Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 8:30am – 5:00pm. Hybrid working arrangement to be offered to successful candidates.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

·  
    Provide high quality generalist service as the first point of contact for contact centre customers.

·      Receive inbound calls, obtain necessary information and utilise generalist knowledge to transfer customers to appropriate contact centre specialists in a courteous, accurate and efficient manner.

·      Undertake administrative work as required to support the provision of high quality service delivery.

·      Create a positive relationship in all customer interactions across all interaction channels, maintaining a professionally courteous and friendly manner.

·      Ensure client satisfaction as a priority as assessed and monitored through customer feedback.

About You:

·      Looking for candidates with 2 - 3 years customer service experience (ideally within a high volume call centre environment)

·      Need excellent written and verbal communication skills

·      Previous gov experience is preferred but not required

·      Looking for candidates who have previously worked in an office environment

·      Intermediate computer skills required – Typing, Using mouse and monitor, Strong email etiquette

·      Proficient in Microsoft office suite, particularly Outlook and Teams

·      Specific software will be taught however contractors need to be technically savvy and have the ability to pick up systems quickly
