Job description

Our state government client is seeking a Customer Service Officer for an exciting 6-month contract. Located in Redcliffe, WA. 

The Role
  • Provide timely and accurate advice, information and guidance to transport operators with regards to Western Australian standards, practices, processes and legislative requirements.
  • Liaise with customers and respond to enquiries.
  • Enter audit details.
  • Monitor and issue 28 days letters regarding accreditation.
  • Enter reports.
  • Assist in conducting of random or triggered audits.

Customer Focused Service
  • Provide advice and assistance to the Helpdesk in attending and resolving customer enquiries.
  • Accurately record customer/stakeholder details, issues, feedback and complaints.
  • Provide publications, brochures, forms and other technical information to customers and offer accurate advice relating to content.

Stakeholder Relationships
  • Build and maintain professional and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholder by providing a responsive and accurate information service.
  • Liaise with transport operators and government agencies.
  • Participate in and promote a culture of high ethical and professional standards.
  • Represent the Department in a professional manner whilst attending external audits.

  • Application of regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
  • Research, analysis and problem solving.
  • Building and enhancing stakeholder relationships.
  • Work organisation with the ability to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Written communication.

  • Full working rights within Australia
  • Current National Police Clearance (within 3 months), or able to obtain
