DFP Recruitment is actively seeking a experienced Cyber Security Architect to join a State Government Security Program. Ideal candidates will possess hands-on expertise in a range of security technologies, including AWS Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Identity & Access Management, DLP, and CASB.

As a Cyber Security Architect we need a Architect who understands different facets of cyber, including infrastructure, endpoint, application, BCP&DR, compliance, and risk management. The candidate must have hands-on experience in AWS cloud security, security solutions, and security monitoring.

Responsibilities:
  • Review solution designs & provide security solutions to ensure alignment to InfoSec standards, policies and organisational risk appetite.
  • Apply up-to-date knowledge of threat modeling, risk assessment techniques, code & config reviews and current best practices treat & counter cybersecurity threats.
  • Responsible for securing cloud environment (AWS) infrastructure & application deployment using available security controls and provide recommendations.
  • Develop reference architecture and patterns for state-of-the-art cloud security architecture leveraging various cloud security-based solutions.
  • Technical architect and experience on Microsoft security products.
  • Guide security audits including ISMS, PCI-DSS, Essential Eight maturity, etc.
  • Define security strategy by developing business case, procurement lifecycle, technical design, deployment of solution and enable detection & response controls.
  • Design & execute complex cyber security projects like Zero-Trust, Identity & Access Management, CASB, etc. to uplift the cyber risk profile.
  • Experience in developing solution POCs, building use cases, and rollout to production.
  • Identify & remediate gaps in DevOps processes and tools.
  • Escalate decisions to sponsor and/or program advisory board as necessary.
