Our state government client is seeking a highly skilled Delivery Manager to join their team to contribute their skills and knowledge as they embark on an exciting transformational journey with a SAP S/4HANA upgrade and a refresh of business processes and operating models. This initiative aims to uplift existing capabilities to achieve strategic targets of enhanced value and performance. Location: Leederville / Balcatta / Canning Vale
Reports to: directly to the Project Director


Responsibilities:
  • Lead, plan, manage, and coordinate the project team (Water Corporation and System Integrator) to deliver the agreed outcome.
  • Oversee the SI delivery across all project phases (Design, Build, Test, Deploy) for key workstreams: SAP Functional, Integration, System and Data Migration, Infrastructure, and Security.
  • Manage Water Corporation delivery by handling internal resources, engaging key business stakeholders, and managing delivery issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist with Solution Strategy and Project Delivery.
  • Ensure team collaboration, drive project vision, and manage scope, schedule, budget, and other key aspects of the project.
  • Manage third-party vendors and offshore resources as required.

Key Skills and Experience:
  • 15+ years of SAP Project Management experience.
  • Experience with S4 Migration or ECC Cloud Migration.
  • Proven ability to manage an SI team with over 100+ resources across multiple geographical locations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in managing risks, issues, dependencies, and actions in a complex matrix team structure.
  • Proficiency in managing project phases:
  • Explore: Manage Design Workshops, Delivery Business Case Development, Build Preparation.
  • Build: Oversee SI Build Activities, SI Test Preparation.
  • Test: Manage Testing and Cutover Preparation.
  • Deploy: Handle integration of Dress Rehearsals, Cutover, Hypercare, Transition to Support, and Decommissioning.
