DFP Recruitment are proudly working with Open Arms in search for an experienced Clinical Coordinator to join their Melbourne team at the equivalent level of an EL1.
The Assistant Director will work in collaboration with the Regional Leadership team to oversee the provision of clinical services across the region, within a stepped-care model.

Responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking line management and supervision for members of the complex case management team, the Community Engagement Coordinator and provide leadership for members of the Community Engagement team.
- Recruitment, selection, induction, development and performance management of the team.
- Oversee external supervisory arrangements for the team.
- Facilitate a development program.
- Oversee the quality of client care by providing oversight and complex case management within a stepped-care model of service provision.
- Establish and maintain effective strategic relationships.
- Participate in clinical and team meetings, contribute to the management, projects and committees.
- Actively contribute to and implement national projects, clinical policies and procedures, research initiatives and QA activities.
- Qualifications as a registered Psychologist / Mental Health Occupational Therapist / Mental Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration or
- Qualification as a Social Worker eligible for membership of the AASW and be eligible to apply for Mental Health accreditation.
- Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance must be obtained prior to commencing in the position.
- Extensive clinical and relevant management experience.
- Excellent knowledge of evidence-based treatment interventions.
- Be able to provide high level consultation, advice on complex clinical matters.
- Relevant experience within APS, complex case management, leadership and management of clinical teams is highly desirable
- An attractive hourly rate of up to $80 p/h + super
- 12 mths + up to 3 year extension
