Job description

The Opportunity 

On behalf of a Federal Government Agency we are looking for a Business Improvement Officer to join the team as an experienced O365 specialist to assess, update, develop and uplift the Finance teams transition in the use of Microsoft O365 apps and tools. 

This is an assignment for 18 months and will be based in Melbourne CBD, a hybrid working arrangement is in place with 3 days working in the office. 

Joining a program to uplift the user experience, making it easier for internal stakeholders to find and use material that supports their day-to-day operations, financial processes, governance and compliance. As the Office 365 specialist you will have experience in UX principles and support the development and review of materials, currency, searchability and usability.

You will establish a foundation that supports the program and uplifts skills across the team, ensuring that SharePoint Online and Teams presence maintains currency today and in the future.

To be successful you will demonstrate; 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 tools, most notably SharePoint and Teams, with the freedom to introduce new service offerings that benefit Finance and the organisation in achieving its self-service and outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience in applying UX principles
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of document migration to OneDrive and SharePoint Online
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly writing for digital channels and delivering enterprise-wide content
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex information and initiate, explore and propose delivery solutions that meet stakeholder needs
