Expression of Interest (EOI) Procurement Officers (APS 4 – EL1)
  • Position: Procurement Officers
  • Location: Various locations throughout Canberra
About Us
DFP Recruitment is one of the largest suppliers to the federal government and is seeking multiple highly skilled and motivated people in the Procurement and Contract Management sector ranging from APS 4 – EL1. From numerous conversations with some of our long-standing clients, we have a range of positions available.
Key requirements to include playing a crucial role in providing support and oversight of all activities relating to procurement and contract management, vendor management and cost optimisation efforts in the APS.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, supply chain management, or a related field. Additional studies, qualification and professional certifications are advantageous.
  • Proven experience in Procurement and Contracts in the APS.
  • Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracts
  • Strong negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to achieve cost savings.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations, sourcing strategies, and vendor management best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Security clearances preferred.
