Job description

Join a well-established construction company as an Estimator, where you'll play a key role in securing new projects and supporting successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with Clients for Tender opportunities.
  • Gathering and reviewing Tender packages for full scope and particulars in relation to the Tender Scope of Works.
  • Prepare and request Quotation from Suppliers and Subcontractors in accordance with the Scope of Works.
  • Assessing Supplier and Subcontractor Quotations against desired Outcomes.
  • Calculating and applying production rates for labour, plant and equipment.
  • Calculating and programming the overall duration of Projects and Project overheads in consultation with the Construction Manager.
  • Preparing professional and accurate Tender Submission.
  • Post-tender negotiations with Client to secure new works.
  • Assess Contractor Administrators with the preparation of Variation Claims.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Trade Qualification
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in estimating roles
  • Strong skills in Buildsoft Global, Microsoft Project, and Excel
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
