Job description

DFP Perth are seeking an experienced Finance System Administrator to engage on a temporary contract on a full time basis with a State Government agency based in Perth’s CBD.  

Start Date: Immediate 
Length of Assignment: 3 months  
Required Start Date: Immediate  
Location: Perth CBD  
Pay Rate: PSA Level 5 ($62.00 per hour/$96, 307.00 per annum)  

Role Summary 
As the Financial System Administrator you will ensure systems development and maintenance to meet the operational needs of the organisation and the Finance directorate. 

Systems Administration 
  • Administer and support FMIS processes and solutions, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards. 
  • Analyse and resolve FMIS issues, maintaining a record of system issues and priorities. 
  • Manage the security framework within FMIS, including user access, security profiles, and password management. 
  • Analyse business and reporting requirements, configuring modules to meet business needs. 
  • Perform system checks, resolve issues, and ensure work-flow management systems operate correctly. 
  • Identify opportunities for system and process improvements. 
Support Services 
  • Provide support to key decision-makers, acting as the interface between business and technology systems. 
  • Assist in training Department staff in system usage. 
  • Provide help desk support to internal and external clients, serving as the liaison between Finance and Information Services. 
  • Other duties as required.
