Job description

DFP Recruitment are looking for an experienced APS3 Information Technology Support Officer to join our client within a Federal Government Department located in Perth CBD. The role is working fulltime initially on a 6-month assignment with strong view of extension.

About the Role

As an Information Technology Support Officer, you will undertake a range of IT duties across the department. The duties of the role will include, but are not limited to:

You will be required to assist the team with Litigation Support

• Case Preparation
• Multimedia file & content editing: both Audio & Video
• Perform routine checks of Server Room Infrastructure and report findings
• Provide support for the IT Service Desk in Level 1 operations
• Perform diagnostics for resolution of operating systems, software, and applications
• Research & report to IT team on various IT related issues & requests
• Ensure adherence to the IT security requirements & related policies

They will be responsible for the Installation and maintenance of hardware (specifically):

• MFDs (multi-function devices)
• PCs
• Laptops
• Telephones
• Provision new Standard Operating Environment for Laptops, PCs, and perform associated software updates

As needed, assist the team with Litigation Requirements in Court

• Liaise with court staff personnel
• Audio Visual setup and court room configuration
• Technical Software Support & break-fix
