Our government client is upgrading one of their internal legacy systems to deliver modern, high quality, easy to use software solutions.

Job Role Purpose:

We are looking for senior developers with experience in overseeing the design and development of new and existing bespoke software applications. Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and relationship management with business and technical stakeholders, mentoring junior developers and experience in developing clear and comprehensive technical documentation are required.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Update and maintain existing export certification systems for a seamless user experience on various platforms.
  • Architect software based on service-oriented and event-driven architectures, using Java and Oracle technologies.
  • Mentor junior developers and actively engage with business and technical stakeholders for effective collaboration.
  • Design and develop web-based UI using ReactJS, CSS, and HTML to enhance the system's usability.
  • Implement CRUD operations on the database and ensure data models are translated effectively.
  • Create and maintain detailed design artifacts and technical documentation.
  • Develop SOAP and REST web services for internal system-to-system integration and B2G integration.
  • Implement and maintain form-based and federated authentication, as well as role-based access control.
  • Utilize Oracle Middleware, including WebLogic application server, SOA Suite, Database, Identity and Access Management, and HTTP Server.
  • Employ tools such as Git, SoapUI, Postman, Maven, and Jenkins for source code versioning, testing, and automation.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in overseeing the design and development of bespoke software applications.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in Java, Oracle technologies, ReactJS, CSS, and HTML.
  • Experience with SOAP and REST web services, authentication systems, and Oracle Middleware.
  • Familiarity with Git, SoapUI, Postman, Maven, and Jenkins for source code versioning, testing, and automation.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
