Job description

Position: Project Manager
 
DFP Perth are seeking an experienced Project Manager to engage on a temporary contract with a State Government agency based in East Perth 6004.

Start Date: 23/04/2024
Estimated End Date: 16/06/2024 (with a two-week extension option)
Location: East Perth 6004
Pay Rate: Open to market rates (if suitable please disclose desired hourly rate) + experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain Project Initiation Documentation (PID) and related work packages.
  • Manage project finances, risks, and resources effectively.
  • Provide regular project status reports and ensure all documentation is up to date.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeframes, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Implement and maintain project products within governance framework.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Deliver projects in line with project management and change management frameworks.
  • Align role to MSP framework.
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of assigned projects, including risks, finances, and resources.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation to manage project risks effectively.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in project management.
  • Strong financial management skills.
  • Proficiency in project development methodologies such as PRINCE2/agile.
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in Government procurement processes
