We are currently partnering with a large public-sector organisation to recruit for an experienced Records / Information Services Officer for an initial six-month contract. This role sits within a high-volume Information Services environment and will suit candidates with strong management records, customer service, and TRIM experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage Road Planning and Referral Services, including planning and development applications and subdivisions
- Monitor and action a shared planning inbox
- Provide front-of-house records and customer service support, including reception enquiries
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, document scanning, quality control, and floor clearances
- Classify, index, and maintain correspondence and files
- Create and maintain files (virtual and hard copy), including bulk file and volume creation
- Conduct file censuses and barcode audits
- Process search requests and invoice documentation
- Coordinate courier and mail services (blue bags) on scheduled days
- Provide basic training and knowledge transfer to contractors across teams
- Provide limited TRIM email, indexing, and workflow support
- Support additional records-related projects as required
- Undertake other Records Officer duties as they arise
- Participate in future training to perform full TRIM support duties, including bulk data updates
- Demonstrated experience in records management or information services
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Experience using TRIM or similar electronic document and records management systems
- Knowledge of records retention schedules and relevant legislation
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment
