Job description

Our client is looking for an experience Salesforce Developer to join the development team within a leading state government body. The role will be supporting the ACT’s MyWay+ program - which will deliver the next generation of ticketing, real time passenger information and journey planning solutions for the people of Canberra. As a Salesforce Developer you will be responsible for a combination of development and administration within the Salesforce platform, full SDLC and supporting the wider program.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day to day development activities on the salesforce.com platform using Apex and Visual Force
  • Support the creation of customisations and integrations required for solution delivery.
  • Configure the Salesforce.com application based on business requirements.
  • Develop custom applications using Apex, VisualForce, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS
  • Apply best practice and experience to build Salesforce.com applications.
  • Develop estimates for projects.
  • Work closely with other developers in the team, Business Analyst, QA analyst and Project Managers
  • Research Salesforce.com capabilities to suit business requirements and provide gap analysis.
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience developing and customizing Salesforce.com applications via web services, Apex, SOQL (Salesforce Object Search Language), Visual Force, Eclipse IDE, Data Loader, Reports and Dashboards.
  • Demonstratable experience working on vendor driven programs, developing solutions and supporting projects.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications.
  • Create actionable technical documentation based on gathered business requirements.
  • Assist with scoping and planning of various CRM related projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain SFDC Visual Force pages, Apex classes & triggers, and integrations.
  • Applicable technical certifications include Certified Salesforce Developer and Certified Salesforce Administrator are essential.
