Senior Data & Integration Specialist– State Government Contract
Location: Fremantle, WA
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Duration: Permanent position

Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization committed to excellence in port operations and services. They are seeking a talented Senior Data and Integration Specialist to join the team and contribute to our strategic initiatives.

As a Senior Data and Integration Specialist, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing our client's data collection, storage, integration, and representation across various systems. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure data consistency, integrity, and accessibility, thereby supporting crucial business analysis and decision-making processes. Reporting to the Projects & Business Systems Manager, this role offers specialist support in developing and implementing both new and existing technologies and digital visualization capabilities. The role works with business stakeholders to define and deliver how our client manages data across platforms and systems.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Plan and manage systems analysis, development, and maintenance projects.
  • Design and implement integration solutions and manage the existing integration platform to meet business needs.
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity through data conversion and developing business rules.
  • Liaise with system users and owners to provide IT solutions for business requirements.
  • Create actionable reports, develop and maintain data assets, standards, integration playbooks, and roadmaps.
Qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent IT experience.
  • Extensive experience in data and integration analysis for complex, high-risk projects, with a focus on business problem-solving.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Technology Stack, including Fabric, M365, Azure, SharePoint, SQL Server, and the Power Platform.
  • Report writing skills using tools like Crystal Reports, Power BI, and SQL Server scripting.
  • Experience in designing and implementing integration solutions with tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud, Boomi, and Microsoft integration tools, and managing change in complex environments.
With a solid background in information technology, you will exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills, effectively supporting and collaborating with key stakeholders across various departments within the business. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and build strong relationships will be crucial in ensuring the successful implementation and integration of IT solutions.
