Senior Environmental Advisor
Location: Kwinana & Fremantle, WA
Contract Duration: Until 31st December 2025
Commencement: ASAP (notice periods considered)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Rate: $70 per hour +super
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Advisor to join their team and contribute to the delivery of the port’s Strategic Plan and Environmental Strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic port environment, partnering across divisions and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, policies, and guidelines.
- Lead and manage environmental projects, including scope development, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Conduct inspections, investigations, audits, and reporting under relevant environmental frameworks.
- Analyse and manage environmental data to support strategic decision-making.
- Deliver environmental training and inductions to various stakeholders.
- Maintain the Environmental Management System to ISO 14001 standards.
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Management, or Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental management within heavy industry or port settings.
- Strong understanding of environmental legislation and best practices.
- Proven experience in managing environmental aspects such as dust, water, and waste.
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive reports and board papers.
