Senior Governance, Risk & Compliance Advisor (Enterprise Risk)
 
Contract: 3 Year Fixed term Contract including leave entitlements
 
Salary:  Approximately $130,000 + super per annum based on experience

DFP Recruitment Perth are looking for an experienced individual to work with one of our reputable clients based in the heart of Fremantle. A position is available for a Senior GRC Advisor Enterprise Risk - to join Governance, Risk & Compliance team for 3-year Fixed term contract.
The Governance, Risk and Compliance team is dynamic, future focused and innovative. They are facilitators and trusted advisors of effective corporate governance who enable the business to make informed and quality decisions to achieve business goals.

About the roles and requirements

Enterprise Risk
The Senior GRC Advisor - Enterprise Risk will lead the implementation of the enterprise risk management and resilience frameworks and associated policies, processes and systems.  Will be implementing a brand new HSE and GRC system and this role will be key in establishing it within the business. 
Your broad understanding of risk in operational and project environments will assist you in providing quality advice and facilitation across the company. You will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our GRC system to enable the business to use risk data trends and insights to make quality decisions.  As a core function, you will facilitate management review and report on strategic risks that impact the company.    
Your excellent communication skills will enable you to facilitate risk identification and assessment across the business at all levels. Your prior experience in development and implementation of resilience frameworks along with experience managing an insurance program would be advantageous. 

About you:
  • An understanding of risk in operational and project environments.
  • Experience in developing and delivering risk management and resilience education programs.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage people in risk management.
  • Excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to identify issues and solve problems.
  • Proven advanced verbal and written communication skills including report writing.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work co-operatively with others at all levels and to operate on a consultative basis.
  • Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work without close supervision.
  • Experience in establishing and facilitating enterprise risk management reporting.
Additional requirements:
  • Have a tertiary qualification in Commerce, Legal, Engineering, Risk Management or other relevant academic degree with extensive experience developing and implementing Enterprise Risk Management frameworks.
  • Be eligible for membership to a relevant professional body including the Risk Management Institute of Australasia or the Governance Institute of Australia.
