Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Employer: DFP Recruitment client
Position Type: 12 month Casual Temporary Contract (potential extension)
Pay Rate: Competitive
Location: Perth, WA 6000
Role Overview: Responsible for managing the project team, addressing and mitigating risks, maintaining relationships with stakeholders and vendors, overseeing financial and commercial activities, and removing impediments to ensure smooth project delivery

Key Responsibilities;
  • Responsible for the management of the team allocated to the project.
  • Addresses risks, issues, dependencies, resistance, delays, problems, etc. Reduces delivery risks by actively managing project risk
  • Maintains relationships with the business and external parties/vendors (where appropriate)
  • Manages the financial and commercial activities related to the project
  • Facilitates in the removal of impediments for the team
  
Essential to be successful in this role;
  • Senior PM (min 5yrs senior deliver experience, prefer 8 -10 yrs)
  • Previous experience taking on projects mid-execution
  • Excellent Stakeholder (Business) engagement and management skills
  • Some technical understanding of Enterprise Platforms (SharePoint / Microsoft) / Infrastructure & Integrations
  • Experience managing dispersed and diverse teams (technical and non-technical)
  • Experience with waterfall delivery
  • Knowledge of Agile
  • Current valid NPC or able to obtain one
