Senior Test Analyst – Mobile & Payments Project

About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a leading technology provider on a 6-month contract to deliver a major mobile device and payments project. As the Senior Test Analyst, you’ll play a hands-on role in a System Integration Testing (SIT)-focused environment, working on-site in Melbourne CBD alongside project stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.
In this role, you will:
  • Develop and maintain test strategies, schedules, and reports
  • Design and execute manual test cases using Jira/Xray
  • Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases
  • Conduct peer reviews of test assets to maintain quality
  • Deliver System, Integration, End-to-End, Regression, and UAT testing
  • Identify and escalate defects with clear documentation
  • Prepare and review test documentation and data
  • Support the set-up and configuration of test environments
  • Record and track test execution results in Jira
  • Contribute to evaluating overall test success criteria

About You
You will bring:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst, ideally in SIT-heavy projects
  • A background in mobile applications or payment/POS systems testing
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jira and other testing tools
  • The ability to commit to a 6-month, full-time contract based in Melbourne CBD
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with excellent collaboration skills
