About the Opportunity
DFP Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support our client’s strategic goals. In this key position, you’ll play a central role in shaping the architecture, development, and integration of ServiceNow across core business modules including ITSM, CSM, FSM, and EAM. You will also take ownership of third-party system integrations and implement identity and access management (IAM) as well as role-based access control (RBAC) policies.
This is a pivotal role within a collaborative and forward-thinking team where your technical expertise will directly influence enterprise-wide service delivery. You’ll work closely with project managers, analysts, and business stakeholders to build scalable, efficient, and secure ServiceNow solutions that align with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and develop ServiceNow modules including ITSM, CSM, FSM, and EAM.
- Build advanced workflows, business rules, and custom applications.
- Design and deliver secure IAM and RBAC frameworks within ServiceNow.
- Integrate third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Service Graph Connectors, and custom integrations.
- Manage platform upgrades, enhancements, and performance monitoring.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and promote ServiceNow development best practices.
- 5+ years’ hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and configuration across multiple modules.
- Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer, and Business Rules.
- Proficient in API-based integrations with tools such as Jira, Azure, SailPoint, GCP, or SCCM.
- Deep understanding of IAM, RBAC, and compliance standards such as the Australian Privacy Act.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow CSA, CAD, and Implementation Specialist certifications (CSM, FSM, or EAM) are highly regarded.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
