Job description

Role Title:  Technical Lead and Solution Designer
Start Date:  ASAP
End Date:  6 months contract (probable extensions)
Pay:  Up to $1300 per day plus Super
Hours: 8hr/day 40hr/week 
Location: WFH & Phillips St Parramatta (1 day), Eveleigh (infrequently)
Check: WWCC, Police Check 
 
We are looking for a Technical Lead and Solution Architect for one of our Government client's requirement, who can oversee the end-to-end technical design and delivery of the Digital Project product and guide senior development resources across different domains. The role is a hands-on role with demonstrated experience in multi-platform solution design and strong development expertise in the integration space.
 
Role and responsibilities
 
  • Hands On Technical Lead to oversee end-to-end Solution Design & Development
  • Demonstrated ability to understand underlying business problems and the ability to develop solutions from complex business requirements. Ability to work with Government client enterprise architects.
  • Design high-quality business solutions by contributing to a well thought out Solution Design from a technical and functional perspective.
  • Present, document and discuss technology solutions with business and key stakeholders. A strong ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ownership and accountability of the end-to-end technical delivery ensuring a timely and successful delivery covering technical domains such as data, front-end, integration, CRM (Salesforce) and identity. Ensure solid governance and best practices are established in line with Government standards.
  • Guidance and oversight of a team of multidisciplinary senior development resources (Salesforce engineers, front-end and integration development, data engineers).
  • Work in partnership with enterprise domain architects and various IT delivery and operations teams.
  • Responsible for producing solution diagrams and associated design artefacts.
  • Experience in delivering product development using Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment (DevOps) methodologies
  • Support the Product Manager in key product decisions. Support the Project Manager in scheduling and resource management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • This role is a hands-on role and requires a lead who will be able to design and develop integrations between different platforms (Data Platform, CRM and front-end)
  • Solid and demonstrated experience in a Technical Lead role.
 
Technical Knowledge
 
  • Experience designing and working on complex solutions across multiple platforms hosted across both Azure and AWS.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD set up
  • Experienced in developing solutions in Vue JS and Node JS.
  • Strong understanding of integrations patterns, design, documenting and building microservices and APIs.
  • Understanding of platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)
  • Experience integrating custom applications to Salesforce would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of data modelling, data security, and data management would be advantageous but not mandatory (as the role will include be managing a team of 2 Senior Data Engineers).
  • Understanding of CRM implementations (experience with the Salesforce product suite would be advantageous but not mandatory) as the role will involve oversight of a team of 2 Senior Salesforce engineers.
