Web Developer

DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our Federal Government Client team.
Role responsibilities
- Implement web development plans and strategies to enhance the website.
- Create, update and manage content for the website.
- Support the production and maintenance of web-based reports.
- Ensure the website is optimised for performance, accessibility and user experience.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of web development efforts and make data-driven improvements
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal or Joomla.
- Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and SEO principles.
- Ability to manage multiple web projects and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Desirable additional skills: Knowledge using ADOBE suite including Illustrator and experience in creating graphics.
