Job description

Job Title: Works Delivery Manager
Employer: DFP Recruitment client
Position Type: Permanent
Pay Rate: $150k - $167k (Super included) + up to $75k allowances
Location: Port Headland, WA 6721
Role Overview: To manage all Asset Services and Resources in alignment with corporate and divisional systems and frameworks, ensuring all prescribed tasks (excluding actual design) adhere to corporate and divisional plans, standards, policies, and procedures. The objective is to operate assets effectively and efficiently, maintaining a regime that ensures reliability and safety, delivers economic benefits, and remains within approved budgets.
 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Deliver Asset Management Plan (AMP)
  • Deliver agreed outcomes for Safety, Reliability, Efficiency, Capacity, Governance, Regulatory Compliance and Operational Budgets.
  • Identify and promote long term strategic programs to increase efficiency of the client's assets via input to the AMP
  • Develop & Implement Service works delivery management process as guided by Government regulations
  • Maintain asset data systems and associated drawings in accordance with the drawing database
  • Provide expert guidance and status reports on the management of assets to the Asset Manager
  • Provide 6 weeks of work visibility and technical support to the Linesman and Tradesman
  • Issue and monitor work package delivery to support effective and efficient works delivery within approved budgets
  • Ensure assets are built and maintained in line with agreed plans and standards and all assets are properly quality assured.
  • Manage emergency and breakdown support for the Network.
  • Ensure availability roster is populated and controlled for the on-call functions within the Network
  • Manage the client's appointed contractors
  • Continuously improve Service delivery process
  • Prioritization of Service works
  • Service works execution (How it is delivered: Internal/External/Contracting/Contractors)
  • Service works resource scheduling
  • Promotion of CAPEX Solutions
  
Essential to be successful in this role;
  • Current Electrical Workers License, and or Certificate III in electrical supply industry - transmission
  • WA Driver’s License Class “C” or “C-A”
  • Sound knowledge of Transmission and Distribution networks, maintenance and operations field practices and procedures.
  • Sound knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Practical knowledge of electrical protection systems within Transmission and Distribution Network systems
  • Sound knowledge of project, contract, and maintenance management systems MS Office systems: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Minimum 8 years technical experience in a Transmission Network environment
