Driving a strategic approach to flexible working

Learn about how flexible workplaces will shape the fortunes of companies in the future. The shift towards new ways of working will require leaders to be masters at managing flexible teams – a skill that needs to be learned and cultivated.

Join us for a practical discussion about the leadership skills that will be required and the benefits of flexibility to organisational and team productivity and engagement.

We will also highlight the Workplace Gender Equality Agency’s new flexibility resources, designed to build the capability of organisations to implement and manage flexible teams, and provide an overview of the Equilibrium Man Challenge – a new campaign that aims to mainstream flexible work practices.

Our panel will take participants through the following:

  • The importance for employers to embrace a whole of enterprise approach to flexibility

  • Why companies are moving towards flexible working

  • How flexible working changes the way we work and live

  • Management opportunities and challenges of flexible working

  • Addressing some of the fear-based myths about flexible working

  • The leadership skills required to successfully manage flexibility

  • The business and societal benefits of flexible working
