Kalgoorlie Based - Full Time

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join a well-established, customer-focused business in Kalgoorlie. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end accounts (accounts payable and receivable) and payroll processing, while supporting the broader finance and administration function to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Provide a high level of professional service to customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Communicate clearly and courteously via phone and email
- Manage enquiries efficiently and within agreed timeframes
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and a solutions-focused approach
- Go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations
- Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and on time
- Complete bank reconciliations and manage invoicing
- Prepare and review debtor reports and follow up outstanding accounts monthly
- Process supplier invoices and reconcile supplier statements
- Maintain payroll records and process payroll end-to-end, including:
- Timesheets, allowances, incentives, and deductions
- Superannuation calculations and payments
- Leave and long service leave accruals
- Prepare payroll and financial reports for internal use
- Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and financial information
- Assist with month-end processes and reporting
- Ensure compliance with workplace legislation and Work Health & Safety requirements
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards
- Identify and report any financial or process risks
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
- Participate in training and undertake additional duties as required
- Work collaboratively within a close-knit team
- Build strong working relationships across the business
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement
- Participate actively in team meetings and initiatives
- Support a positive, safe, and respectful workplace culture
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounts or finance administration role
- Experience with supplier invoices and statement reconciliations
- Payroll processing experience highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sound problem-solving ability
- High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality
