Administration Officer

Job description

DFP is seeking a motivated and professional Administration Officer to join a South Australian Government business unit. This role provides high-quality administration support within a fast-paced environment. This is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension, located in the Adelaide CBD. The role requires full-time onsite work (Monday to Friday) and offers an attractive hourly rate of $37.39 plus 12% super.
 

Key responsibilities include:
  • Collecting information pertaining to internal policy breaches
  • Assess requests, provide advice on the services available and follow up enquiries as directed/required.
  • Maintain accurate (and accessible) record of policies, instructions, procedural information, bulletins and circulars.
  • Coordinate the maintenance, supply and purchase of equipment, materials and assets.
  • Deliver a wide range of administrative support services, which includes but is not limited to scheduling tasks, invoice processing, taking and distributing minutes, arranging travel and accommodation, transcription and general typing, preparing response letters, filing, faxing, recording and handling materials/assets/equipment.
 
 Essential requirements:
  • Must have a national police check  
  • Previous experience in administration  
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Stric adherence to confidentially and privacy policies
