Project Manager (IT)
Location: Fremantle, WA
Contract: 6‑ temp month contract
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Commencement: ASAP
Rate: $80 per hour +super

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (IT) to join the EPMO Delivery Team of our client based in Fremantle, working across multiple high‑impact initiatives that support Major Projects, Corporate Services, and Operations. This role is ideal for a dynamic, adaptable professional who excels in fast‑paced environments and can quickly take ownership of in‑flight projects.
The ideal candidate brings together exceptional communication, strong stakeholder leadership, and proven IT delivery expertise, along with the operational insight required to manage systems that directly contribute to safety, compliance, and daily operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of IT and business‑related projects, including sub‑projects or work packages within larger programs.
  • Develop scopes of work and prepare requirements for tendering business/IT systems and services.
  • Lead delivery of enterprise IT systems, ideally SaaS or cloud‑based operational platforms.
  • Work within environments that require a strong awareness of security, safety, compliance, and operational continuity.
  • Assess in‑progress projects, review existing documentation, identify gaps, and take control to deliver remaining milestones successfully.
  • Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams across the organisation, supporting multiple divisions simultaneously.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, or Project Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, change management, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Proven understanding of IT project delivery, including system development and test management practices.
  • Ability to interpret business processes and translate them into technical requirements—e.g., visitor management workflows, safety procedures, permit issuance, and other operational processes.
