Job description

Our client, a South Australian State Government agency, is seeking an experienced and motivated Administration Officer (ASO2) to join their team south of Adelaide.
 
About the Role

As the Administration Officer, you will provide high‑quality administrative and reception support. To be eligible you must have experience with Sunrise EMR.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient‑facing and telephone‑based customer service.
  • Manage clinic appointment schedules, patient files, and database updates.
  • Coordinate bookings, referrals, and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical, medical, and administrative staff.
  • Prepare correspondence, documents, and reports.
  • Manage stationery supplies and office functions.
  • Maintain records, scan/upload documents, and support billing processes.
 
About You
  • Previous administrative experience in healthcare.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Competent computer skills.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and quality standards.
 
Mandatory Requirements
  • Experience with Sunrise EMR, Oracle, Basware
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • National Police Check
  • Immunisation compliance (Category B)
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
